    The Campus Area Transportation Study (CATS) members worked together through the MTD to submit a TIGER grant application for nearly $30M in funding for complete street implementation in the University District. 

Description

Transportation grants can be used to improve the roadways and decrease automobile traffic by enhancing bicycle, pedestrian, and transit facilities.  These grants include TIGER, IDOT, ITEP, and others.
