This video highlights the early season vegetables being grown and managed at the Sustainable Student Farm with the Department of Crop Sciences. A fresh 'crop' of 9 student interns are taking the lead in learning about and operating all aspects of this sustainable and organic farm. Led by manager and instructor, Matt Turino, the farm is in its 13th year of operation after receiving funds from the Student Sustainability Council. The farm operates a fresh produce farm stand each week on the Quad behind the Illini Union.
