Installation of Enhanced Hydration Stations in University Residence Halls

Project Description

iSEE will partner with University Housing to increase the number of enhanced hydration stations with bottle fillers in university residence halls. Many residence halls only offer basic drinking fountains, but surveys show students overwhelmingly prefer using the enhanced stations. Increasing access to the enhanced stations will encourage students to use reusable bottles and reduce plastic waste created by disposable bottles. iSEE will also conduct an informational campaign to raise student awareness of water quality and safety to increase students’ understanding of the safety of water available on campus.

This proposal directly funds:
1. Enhanced hydration station equipment
2. Installation wages
