Engineering Open House Environmental Education and Sustainability Initiative

Project Description

The Engineering Open House Environmental Education and Sustainability Initiative aims to empower engineers to create real climate solutions built for the present and future by providing the resources needed to turn their innovative solutions into a reality. This initiative also promotes environmental 
education with enriching workshops that foster interest and community engagement from elementary, middle, and high school students. Additionally, this initiative will provide a platform for notable speakers who work in sustainability. Overall, this effort aims to foster a passion for sustainability in future engineers and develop leaders of a greener future.

This proposal directly funds the following. See approved budget for details.
1. WasteNot contractual labor
2. Supplies
3. Excess cost of sustainability sourced t-shirts
4. Room reservations
