Created by UIUC undergraduate student, Mona Fang, Karma Trade is a zero-waste clothing swap service where you can trade in your old clothing for equal value store credit.

This is how the Karma Trade clothing swap works:

1) Start a Karma Trade account at the store

2) Bring in unwanted clothes in exchange for "Karma Points" which can be used to buy items at the store

3) To purchase items, Karma Points are used in addition to a small monetary charge for operational costs

4) Check the online portal to see how many Karma Points are remaining in the account
