Eco Illini Supermileage (2026)

Project Description

During the 2025-2026 school year, Eco Illini Supermileage has been designing and manufacturing our new EV "G7e," which features custom battery management and motor-control electronics. After participating in this year’s competition (spring 2026), we will critically analyze all parts of the car over the summer. During the 2026-2027 school year, we will use these insights to execute a complete upgrade and revamp, maximizing efficiency based on our findings. This funding application supports the upgrade stage of our project, scheduled for the next academic year. We’ll leverage our EV engineering foundation and current momentum to drive continuous improvement and keep pushing the boundaries of hyper-efficient electric vehicles.

This proposal directly funds the following. See approved budget and SSC communications for details.
