The Future of Aviation Technology

Project Description

The Future of Aviation Technology (FAT) is a technical project within the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics UIUC Student Branch that focuses on the research, design, and development of sustainable aviation technologies. The overarching goal of this project is to address sustainability in the aerospace industry while providing hands on learning experiences for UIUC students. The project involves researching, designing, and building small scale experimental electric aircraft platforms to test advanced aviation concepts with implications that could shape the future of aircraft design.
