Students and staff have requested a bottle filler add-on to the two existing water fountains to reduce the use of bottled war. Everyone is concerned about the wastefulness of purchasing bottled water and the fact that the empty bottles get thrown away. Occupants and visitors to the building want an eco-friendly way to drink water. The desired outcome is to be eco-friendly, more economically conscious, and to provide an easy way for all to take in the required amount of water each day. There are four water fountains in the arcade, and this team is proposing to add one more bottle filler on each floor. This team had the F&S plumbers inspect our existing water fountains and they have said that the bottle filler could be installed without an issue. Students will be effected positively as they are consistently in and out of this building, along with a lot of student families visiting as well.
