Sustainable Design Workshop and Speaker Series

Project Description

The Sustainable Design Program in the College of Fine and Applied Arts intends to host two workshops and public lectures in Fall 2025. One event will focus on the program Soil to Soul and will include a screening of their pilot episode and an extended engagement with speakers from the project on urban farming. The other workshop will be with Trillium Dell Timberworks President, Rick Collins and will focus on sustainable wood construction including a demo, lecture, and speaker dinner.

This proposal directly funds:
• Digital Signage
• Specialty Wood Samples
• Hand Tools and Supplies
• Honoraria for Two External Presenters
• Catering
• CITL Recording Fees
