Sustainable Food Catering at Divestment Educational Event
Project Description
To provide planet-friendly meals to those who attend an educational divestment event. The project will increase environmental stewardship by replacing a meal that could have been a higher carbon emission meal with one with no animal products, meaning a lesser environmental impact. This project will benefit students by not only giving them planet-friendly food to consume that is good for them and good for the planet, but it will also call attention to what they eat. By providing planet-friendly catering in tandem with an educational event, there can be a greater reach of sustainability-minded folks.
