Today on the Solar Podcast we get a sneak peek into the University of Illinois Solar Farm 2 project south of campus in Savoy, IL. The project is a 50 acre, 12.4 MWdc single axis tracker (Nextracker) solar farm featuring 30,000 bifacial solar modules. The project is being developed by Sol Systems and our guests are the Executive Director of Facilities and Services for the UofI, Mohamed Attalla and Project Manager for Sol Systems, Pedro De La Barra. The project is part of the University's goal to green its energy supply.
