Metric: Percent of Power from Renewable Sources
This is the percentage of the total electricity used on campus that was generated from renewable energy sources. It includes both on-campus generation and off-campus purchasing through the MISO grid and specific Power Purchase Agreements. It also includes purchases of Renewable Energy Certificates.
It does not include renewable sources for thermal energy, such as the biomass boiler or the ARC solar thermal array.
