The Green Infrastructure Maintenance Conference is held every other year and highlights advances and issues in green infrastructure. The event is free to the public and brings in speakers from within the University community, along with speakers from other cities and universities. It is an initiative of the MS4 Stormwater Technical Committee.

The 2011 conference addressed maintenance for bioretention swales, native plantings, rain gardens porous pavements, and green roofs. This conference attracted an audience of around 100 people, which one speaker noted was large for such an event.
