Bevier To-Go Containers

Project Description

The Bevier Cafe is a learning laboratory where Food Science and Nutrition (FSHN) students get hand son experience running a food service establishment. The goal of this project is to reduce the cafe's waste stream by adding reusable to-go containers as an option for customers.

Customers will have the ability to opt in to the pgoram through a small upfront cost, which will cover all costs associated with cleaning and replacing the containers as needed. In return, they will recieve a discount on any meal they take to go in a reusable container as well as the knowledge they helped recue the campus's waste footprint.

This proposal directly funds:

1. 500 reusable containers (including side cups for soup or salad)

2. On-site signage and posters
