| Pedestrian and Bicycle Counts |
The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign has installed 24 pedestrian and bicycle counters from Eco-Counter on campus. These are counters use a PYRO sensor (infrared technology) to count pedestrians and Magnetic Zelt loops embedded in the pavement to count bicycles. |

5/27/2026F&S has the 1966 – 1967 annual report on bicycle lane traffic volumes, counting stations, bicycle surveys, and the number of bicycle racks and parking spaces on campus. Please see the attached scanned pictures.
