Edu005 returned by iWG

The Edu005 Sustainable Scholars Program recommendation was returned to the Education SWATeam on 6/9/2020. 

Morgan White writes:

Thank you for submitting the attached Edu005: Sustainability Scholars Program recommendation to the iCAP Working Group! The iWG agrees that, conceptually, this is a good proposal, and we are appreciative of the time and effort of the team to develop this recommendation. A few questions arose out of the iWG meeting on April 27, and we would like them addressed in order to fully evaluate this recommendation.

Edu006 returned by iWG

Following discussion at the iCAP Working Group on 9/9/22, the Edu006 - Sustainability in Study Abroad recommendation was returned to the team for clarification. See the iWG assessment attached with the specific questions posed to the Education team by the iWG. 

PWR001 was returned by iWG

The iCAP Working Group (iWG) met on April 2, 2015, to discuss and start the assessment of the SWATeam recommendation PWR001 Zero Waste Coordinator. Their official comment on the recommendation was:

"We recommend that the PWR SWATeam consider whether it would be advisable to split this into two recommendations: one for F&S (focused on recycling and waste handling), and one for OBFS (focused on purchasing)."

The recommendation was, subsequently, returned to the PWR SWATeam on April 14th, 2015.

LW006 returned by iWG

Parking has limited funding, so during the first May iWG meeting, the recommendation was sent back to the Land & Water team. The committee advised to add in capture rate and return on investment data before resubmitting for another meeting.

Trans007 returned by iWG

The iCAP Working Group (iWG) met on February 16, 2016, to discuss the SWATeam recommendation, Trans007 Campus Fleet Analysis and Planning. The iWG's final comment was:

They have suggested that this analysis is ideally completed by an industry professional. The iWG recommends that this study can be broken down into phases where phase 1 could be done by students, and phase 2 then could be done by an outside consultant (industry expert). Ben will suggest this to the SWATeam.

Trans011 returned by iWG

The Trans011 Carbon Credit Fund recommendation was returned to the Transportation SWATeam on 2/21/2020. 

Dr. Ximing Cai writes, 

"For a recommendation submitted by your team last spring, iWG discussed it in the summer of 2019. Attached below please find the main points regarding the recommendation.

a. Continue looking into incentives and NOT punishments

b. Make a suggestion for how this could work with TEM
