Laura Schultz serves as Senior Sustainability Intern at the Institute for Sustainability, Energy, and Environment. Her responsibilities include working as the clerk to the iCAP Working Group, supervising the progress of the SWATeams, and oversight of new and continuing campus sustainability programs.

A recent graduate of the university, she earned a B.S. in Earth, Society, and Environmental Sustainability; a minor in Ecology and Conservation Biology, and a Certificate in Environmental Writing. 

As a student, Laura served as a Marketing and Outreach Intern for the Student Sustainability Committee. She was also heavily involved in sustainability and environmental organizations on campus such as The Green Observer Magazine, Students for Environmental Concerns, and the UIUC Beyond Coal campaign.
