Aug 7, 2020 We are the Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District (MTD), your safe public transit provider serving the campus of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the surrounding community. Our goals for serving campus include high frequency, easy-to-learn routing, and late-night service. With a valid iCard, University of Illinois students, faculty, and staff have unlimited access to MTD bus service on 25 routes across campus and throughout the community, including fixed-route buses and on-demand van service. Whether you are hopping aboard to get to your afternoon biology class or you want to head off-campus to the movie theater with some friends, MTD will get you there.
