On April 27th, 2026 the Illinois Senate unanimously passed Senate Bill 3336, which focuses on regulating high-speed e-bikes, e-scooters and other e-mobility vehicles. Currently, on campus Veos are capped below the 28mph limit and are thus largely unaffected by this new legislation.
