    As part of the Housing Lighting Retrofit, 453 T-12 fixtures in FARH Residence Hall's Food Service Building were replaced with more energy-efficient T-8 fixtures. This switch will incur an Annual kWh Savings of 71,429  hours.

  • FARH Oglesby Hall

    2/25/2013

    As part of the Housing Lighting Retrofit, 126 T-12 fixtures in FARH Oglesby Residence Hall were replaced with more energy-efficient T-8 fixtures. This switch will incur an Annual kWh Savings of 19,868  hours.

Key Objective

Description

In the Housing Lighting Retrofit a total of 5,515 T-12 fixtures were replaced with thinner, more energy effiecient T-8 fixtures in housing buildings around the University of Illinois' campus. This will incur a total Annual KWh  Savings of 791,331 hours.  The total Simple Payback is estimated to be 2.81 years.
