Project Family

Background

The University of Illinois is fortunate to have an exceptional public transit network available for the students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District provides ten minute service frequencies around campus during the academic year. The Disability Resources and Educational Services provides curb to curb paratransit rides for campus. Illinois Terminal, just one mile from campus, offers three Amtrak trains daily to Chicago and Carbondale, and Intercity buses to various destinations.
