Associated Project(s):The EGEN SWATeam held their first meeting fo the Fall 2016 semester. Topics covered include:
- Selecting a team chair
- Deciding a regular meeting time, frequency, and location
- Preparing an evaluation of the campus's progress toward meeting the objectives of the 2015 iCAP
- Writing a descriptive paragraph about the EGEN team's focus for the year to be posted on the iCAP portal.
- Identifying a potential faculty member to fill the 2nd faculty spot on the EGEN SWATeam
SWATeam Charge Letter for FY17
Associated Project(s):The charge letter was sent to FY17 SWATeam members, noting that the clerks will be reaching out to help schedule meetings for the fall.
04-22-2016 Meeting Notes
Associated Project(s):This week the team met to discuss how solar could be applied in a variety of different ways. We also talked about energy distribution and generation on some new buildings being constructed on campus.
04-15-2016 Meeting Notes
Associated Project(s):This week the EnGen SWATeam met to discuss some past recommendations that we have made, and also to consider ideas for future ideas that we would like to forward up the working group.
Possible Electrification Study under discussion
Associated Project(s):A group of faculty, students, and staff are looking into the options for an Electrification Study for campus. This would be a study that goes through the formal "Feasibility Study" process at F&S, starting with a "Qualifications Based Selection" or QBS.

EGen003 PPA term recommendation - Submittal
Associated Project(s):The eGen SWATeam submitted a recommendation to the iWG stating, "Take steps to allow a Power Purchase Agreement for electricity without any restriction on the term of the agreement."

EGen004 Electrification Study recommendation - Submittal
Associated Project(s):The eGen SWATeam submitted a recommendation to the iWG stating, "Hire a consultant to undertake a study of electrifying most space and water heating on campus."
