Upon Sarthak Prasad's request to give project addition privileges to Liz Mendoza-Hernandez, Morgan White laid out a process to add projects upon Liz's request.

1. Email Morgan, Meredith, and Sarthak with a strong project description, and the proposed new iCAP Project location in the hierarchy 

2. Meredith and/or Morgan will confirm the placement in the hierarchy. 

3. Sarthak will add a blank private project as a placeholder and email Liz. 

4. Liz or anyone in the SSC with access with fill in the project information and change it to public.

Here is the new help text for the Metric Topic (when editing a Metric) which we changed in today’s meeting:

Metric Topic should be a terse noun indicating the metric being measured <em>(CO2, Bicycles, etc.)</em>.

<br />It will be used as the title of the y-axis in the metric's graph. Please capitalize the first letter.

<br />If you start typing, autocomplete will try to find a matching term used by other metrics.  If no matches are found, your term will be added.

Evan De Lucia and Mohamed Attalla approved $50,000 of funding from the Carbon Credit Sales Fund for iCAP Portal maintenance and improvements for FY20 to FY23.

The Illinois Climate Action Plan (iCAP) outlines a path for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to achieve carbon neutrality as soon as possible, and no later than 2050. The campus committed to this ambitious goal when in 2008 it signed the American College and University Presidents' Climate Commitment (ACUPCC) — later to be renamed the Second Nature Carbon Commitment for its emphasis on emissions.

In 2016, Illinois took on an even greater leadership role when Interim Chancellor Barbara Wilson signed its sister pledge, the Second Nature Resilience Commitment, which charges campus to examine the vulnerabilities of its landscapes and infrastructure in the face of an already changed climate. Together, these two commitments form Second Nature’s comprehensive Climate Commitment. As a charter signatory of the Climate Commitment, Illinois continues its dedication to being on the forefront of sustainable future planning.
