Projects Updates for Sustainability iCAP Portal
Search tips:
- This form will search for words in the title OR the description. If you would like to search for the same term(s) across both the title and description, enter the same search term(s) in both fields.
- This form will search for any of the words you enter in a field, not the exact phrase you enter. If you would like to search for an exact phrase, put double quotes (") around the phrase. For example, if you search for Bike Path you will get results containing either the word Bike OR the word Path, but if you search for "Bike Path" you will get results containing the exact phrase Bike Path.

Attached Files:Funding Tracking System Feature - Retired
Associated Project(s):The original iCAP Portal included a robust Funding tracking system, as described in the attached document. This tracking became too cumbersome and the iCAP Portal Administrators decided to leave the financial tracking to the University’s Banner Financial System instead of working to replicate it in the iCAP Portal.
See the Funding tracking system in the attached files.

Associated Project(s):The iCAP Portal has been approved for support from the Office of Sustainability/Chancellor, and construction of the portal is under development. Initial entry screens have been created and were shared at the iCAP Forum on April 16. The backend database will be developed over the summer 2012.
Sustainability Portal
Associated Project(s):The Office of Sustainability is working with MSTE to develop the Illinois Sustainability Portal, an online hub for sustainability-related information on the Urbana-Champaign campus. We met with MSTE several times in January to develop the site architecture and database structure for the site. A preview of the site will be shared during Earth Week (April 16-20). When complete, the portal will be the go-to place for people to learn about all iCAP projects and goals, to submit ideas for consideration, and to research historical data about emissions and other sustainability metrics. Additionally, project leaders will be able to report to the OS on their progress and plans. We envision this to be an incredibly useful tool going forward.
