  1. Executed Agreement between iSEE and MSTE to Continue Support for iCAP Portal

    Associated Project(s): 

    On July 1, 2020, iSEE and MSTE made a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU.) This mutual written agreement declared that MSTE will continue to provide technical support and implementation of proposed innovations to further assist iCAP Portal team members.

    The individuals who signed this agreement were Dr. George Reese (Director of MSTE), Dr. Evan DeLucia (Director of iSEE), and Dr. Mohamed Attalla (Executive Director of F&S.)

  2. Funding Approval for iCAP Portal Maintenance and Improvements

    Evan De Lucia and Mohamed Attalla approved $50,000 of funding from the Carbon Credit Sales Fund for iCAP Portal maintenance and improvements for FY20 to FY23. 

    "This will allow us to continue improvements to the iCAP Portal and continue to enhance the usability

  3. Funding Approval for MSTE to update the iCAP portal website

    Evan De Lucia and Mohamad Attalla approved $15,000 of funding from the Carbon Credit Sales Fund for MSTE (Office of Mathematics, Science, and Technology Education) to make improvements and new coding designs to the iCAP Portal.

  4. Executed Agreement between iSEE and MSTE for the iCAP Portal

    Associated Project(s): 

    On December 1, 2017, iSEE and MSTE made a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a formal structural payment in expectation of a return of services. The services provided by MSTE include the creation of new features on the iCAP Portal, technological troubleshooting, and maintenance.

  5. Sustainability interns continue work updating iCAP Portal project pages

    CEE students Chenxi Jiang and Shuang Chen are working with Morgan Johnston to edit the iCAP Portal project pages for each iCAP objective.  Chapters 8-12 do not have SWATeams, and the background research on these chapters has been completed.  The edited project pages are scheduled to be online by the end of March.  The next step is editing the iCAP objectives for each SWATeam chapter in the iCAP.  Chenxi and Shaung will be meeting with SWATeam representatives over the next few weeks to gather information, and then the project pages will be edited to reflect the latest info.  We expect to be

  6. EGEN SWATeam Meeting (3.10.17)

    The EGEN SWATeam held another bi-weekly meeting. Topics covered include:

    • Associate Director for Campus Sustainability Ximing Cai and his vision for iSEE
    • Biomass boiler at Energy Farm
    • Opportunities for Geothermal on campus
  7. Sustainability staff discussed the outreach programs on the portal

    Morgan Johnston, Catherine Yee, and Chenxi Jiang met today to discuss the outreach information listed on the iCAP Portal.  Catherine described the Student Sustainability Leadership Council (SSLC) and the Certified Green Office Program (CGOP).  We also discussed the Earth Week efforts and the overall purpose of the SSLC as a networking opportunity for students in sustainability groups.

  8. Funding Tracking System Feature - Retired

    Associated Project(s): 

    The original iCAP Portal included a robust Funding tracking system, as described in the attached document. This tracking became too cumbersome and the iCAP Portal Administrators decided to leave the financial tracking to the University’s Banner Financial System instead of working to replicate it in the iCAP Portal.
