Trans008 Mode Share Survey recommendation - Submittal
Associated Project(s):The Transportation SWATeam submitted a recommendation, to the iWG, stating, "iSEE should facilitate and fund, if any funds required, an updated University District transportation mode-share study. The previous circulation study was conducted by the transportation group in the Regional Planning Commission (RPC), CUUATS. This was conducted in 2011. This recommendation is for the Transportation SWATeam to create survey questions and, with the help of iSEE, distribute the survey across campus."
Trans009 PAC recommendation - Submittal
Associated Project(s):The Transportation SWATeam submitted a recommendation, to the iWG, stating, "The chair of the Transportation SWATeam will serve as a voting member of the Parking Advisory Committee."

Transportation SWATeam Minutes - 1/22/18
Associated Project(s):The Transportation SWATeam had their first meeting of the semester. They discussed their formal recommendation for a new mode share study and opportunities for expansion of Green Fleet certification to new campus fleets.
Transportation SWATeam Minutes - 12/14/17
Associated Project(s):The Transportation SWATeam met to discuss a proprosal for the creation and dissemination of a new campus-wide modeshare survey as well as potential options for moving forward with the provision of winter bike storage on campus.

Associated Project(s):The Transportation SWATeam discussed the opportunities, challenges, and feasibility of campus fleet car-sharing to reduce emissions from the campus fleet. They also discussed air travel offsets
Transportation SWATeam Minutes - 10/12/17
Associated Project(s):The Transportation SWATeam held their second meeting of the semester. They discussed how the a potential DIA Climate Action Plan could help achieve transportation iCAP goals. They also gave input on the student transportation survey that Professor Cidell is developing.

SWATeam expectations 2017-18
Associated Project(s):Dr. Ximing Cai presented the attached presentation to the SWATeam members at the beginning of fall 2017.
Transportation SWATeam Meeting
Associated Project(s):The Transportation SWATeam had it's first meeting of the year. They discussed progress on the Transportation iCAP objectives, the status of related projects and proposals, and their priorities for the year. The team identified the following three areas on which they plan to focus in the coming meetings:
1. Exploring options for offsetting air travel emissions
2. Pursuing a comprehensive intermodal transit survey (one for students and one for faculty)
3. Assessing the feasibility of various options to reduce emissions from the campus fleet

Associated Project(s):Hello Transportation SWATeam members,
Thank you again for your willingness to help our campus achieve the Climate Leadership Commitments. There is great value provided by the bi-weekly meetings of student, faculty, and staff representatives evaluating our progress and recommending additional actions campus units could take.
The following is a list of current activities I am aware of, and suggestions I have about useful next steps. I am happy to follow up with you on any of these, as needed.

Associated Project(s):The charge letter was sent to FY18 SWATeam members, noting the SWATeams' responsibilities for the academic year.

March 31, 2017 Meeting

Summary:
Due to poor scheduling, several members were not able to show up to the meeting. However, it was a good chance for Shuang Chen, a student who is working to update the iCAP portal objectives, to learn about the group. Also, the new iSEE director Ximing Cai was in attendance, and plans to attend future transportation SWATeam meetings.
